Heritage Volunteering

NADFAS Heritage Volunteers help to conserve our heritage in non-specialist but vital ways by caring for collections, recording documents, guiding and stewarding.

Our West Cornwall DFAS Heritage Volunteering group has been working on cleaning and doing minor repairs to the art collection at The Morrab Library, following completion of the Library’s new extension. The group has been trained by book conservators at PZ Conservation and has now completed the restoration of the London Illustrated  News collection, covering volumes from 1842 through to 1972.
